Fee paying students

If you are not eligible for government-subsidised training you will pay the full fee listed on the respective course page. In addition, you need to pay any applicable materials and consumables fees.

Uniting RTO does not have Skills Victoria funding.

Payment of Fees

You can pay your fees by credit card via Stripe. If paying via an invoice then it a request must be sent to [email protected] and a Customer form will be sent for registration to pay via invoice from the RTO Administration officer.

Help with Paying your Fees

1. Welfare Services
Assistance can be provided to students to help with budgeting, money management, financial counselling and referrals to external agencies. For information on how you can access this service, click here*.

2. Fee Concession/Exemptions
Fee concession/exemptions may be granted to students experiencing severe financial hardship. You email asking for a meeting with the RTO Manager before enrolment. Email [email protected] 

3. Payment Plans
Uniting RTO offers eligible students the option of paying their course fees over time with a payment plan. Payment plans apply to the enrolment fees. If you use a payment plan you pay a $250 deposit which is deducted from your course’s fees. The remaining course fees are paid by instalments over the length of the course you have enrolled in and will be deducted from your account prior to each unit of study. You can opt to make either weekly or fortnightly instalment payments, just contact our office to set up this arrangement.

Fees, Charges and Refund Policy

Fees in relation to Skills Recognition
Skills Recognition or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means that skills, experience and knowledge you already have can be assessed for credit against a qualification. This can occur either before or after your enrolment.

A fee will apply for each application for Skills Recognition by students depending upon the selected course. Fees for skills recognition assessments are the same as the course tuition fees. Please contact the office for more information at [email protected]

You can apply for Skills Recognition in whole units of competency or course – not parts of units.

Fee Refunds

100 percent refund if Uniting RTO cancels your course.

If you provide formal notification of withdrawal prior the commencement of your course or within 14 days of your course commencing, you are entitled to the refund of your tuition fees, materials fees and Student Services fee (less an administration fee of $80). A refund will not be granted where training has been commenced or completed for a unit or course and a result entered.

You must lodge a withdrawal/refund application form course within 14 days of the commencement of your course, you are entitled to a refund of your materials, consumables and Student Services fees. (less an administrative fee of $80).

Further Assistance: Centrelink Allowances for Students

Youth Allowance/Austudy/Abstudy  Uniting RTO does not currently offer this service

The main income support schemes for students are Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy. Application forms are available from any Centrelink office or phone 132 490.

Pensioner Education Supplement
If you receive a Parenting Payment Single (PPS) or the Disability Support Pension (DPS), you may also be eligible for extra assistance while you are studying. Application forms are available from Centrelink or telephone 132 316.-

Special Notes

*All Academic history requests prior to 2000 will incur an Archive search fee in addition to the replacement document cost (if documentation is found).

**Short Course withdrawal applications submitted five business days or more prior to the scheduled start date of the short course are entitled to a refund of your enrolment fees less an administrative processing fee of $40.

*** NOTE: If you do not attend your scheduled workshop/s and complete the online theory components, you will be charged for any further bookings in the relevant course
